The Defiant Saddle line was born by combining the imaginations and expertise of a 40-year equestrian rider, blending her extensive knowledge of equine physiology and behavior, with the craftsmanship and technical expertise of a UK trained Master Saddler with more than 30 years of experience designing and crafting saddles. Our saddles embody the proven, traditional, Classical Craft of the UK saddle industry and seamlessly combine that with modern needs based on research and rider comfort.

Defiant Saddles believes that each saddle should be fit both to the horse and to the rider’s comfort and without that seamless interaction, peak performance and comfort are not possible. We have designed our saddles with this concept at the forefront. Our independent panels, adjustable trees, multiple tree options, and wool flocked panels allow for infinite customization to fit a wide range of horses! Multiple billet options are available to accommodate even the most forward girth grooves. Our range of saddles offers multiple block configurations, more forward flap options, as well as one of the most comfortable seats in the industry with options for wider width seats; all of which provide more options for the rider to maintain an optimal position. Our unique saddle fitting demos allow the rider to utilize a velcro block to determine their optimal block size, shape, and position and translate that information to our saddlers to create a truly custom fit; a unique option for the MonoFlap market.
